The moderator's companion for Mafia & Werewolf
Everyone closes their eyes. You open the app.
Mafia Helper is the secret notebook for whoever runs the game: it deals the roles, walks you through the night in the right order, and does the kills-versus-saves math the moment you tap Resolve Night. You keep the phone. You take the credit.
This is how a night goes. Tap it — it works.
"Mafia, wake up. Choose your target."
"Doctor, wake up. Choose someone to protect."
"Detective, wake up. Who do you suspect?"
Investigations answer instantly — whisper the result.
How a game runs
One phone. The whole night.
No deck of cards, no crumpled notepad, no "wait — who did the Doctor save?" Four screens carry a full game from lobby to last vote.

Deal roles on the phone
Players pass the phone, tap their name, see their role, pass it back. A two-step reveal means nobody glimpses a neighbour's card.

Track the night in taps
Every waking role gets a card, in the right order, with the narration line to read aloud. Recording an action is one tap on a name.

Resolve with one tap
Kills against saves, bodyguard sacrifices, witch potions, a Godfather who reads innocent — the app announces who died and who got lucky.

Tally the day's votes
Plus/minus counters per player, one-tap elimination, and a win check after every death — Town, Mafia, Jester or Serial Killer.
The part you stop doing in your head
The night math is the whole trick.
Every experienced moderator has botched a night: a save forgotten, a bodyguard's sacrifice missed, an investigation whispered wrong. Mafia Helper resolves the entire night the way the rules say it should go — every time.

The cast
17 roles built in. Yours on top.
Classic Mafia, Werewolf-flavoured, or fully custom — presets auto-balance the lineup for your player count, a balance checker flags broken setups, and the in-app Role Guide carries moderator tips for every card.
Evil
Town
Neutral
Built for the person holding the phone
Designed for moderators, not screens-up play.
Narration on cue
Wake and sleep lines for every role, right where you need them — and an optional voice narrator can read phase changes and role calls aloud.
Nothing gets lost
Every action auto-saves. A phone call mid-game, a dead battery, an accidental swipe home — reopen and the night resumes where it stopped.
Receipts for the table
A full game log of every action, death and save; history with the complete role roster; and a share button for the group chat post-mortem.
Questions
The short answers.
Do the players need the app too?
No. One phone runs the whole game — the moderator's. Players only touch it if you use pass-and-play role dealing, and a two-step reveal makes sure they only ever see their own card.
How many players does it support?
5 to 20. Presets auto-balance the roles for your group size, and a balance checker warns you before you start a broken setup.
Do we still need a deck of cards?
No — the app can deal roles by passing the phone around. If your group likes physical cards, keep using them and just enter who got what.
Does it work offline?
Yes. No account, no sign-up, no connection needed to run a game — everything is saved on your device, and an interrupted game resumes exactly where it stopped.
Is it free?
Yes. Mafia Helper is free with a small banner ad and an occasional full-screen ad after a game ends — never in the middle of a night. A one-time Pro purchase removes every ad.
Can I add my own roles?
Yes. Beyond the 17 built-in roles you can create custom ones — name, icon, alignment and night action — and they slot into setup, dealing and the night tracker like any other role.
